TITLE: Community Engagement Specialist REPORTS TO: Program Director LOCATION: Snohomish County, WA EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-Time, Non-Exempt Employee Career Team is looking to hire a Community Engagement Specialist. The work is performed under the supervision of the Program Director. This role involves serving as the company's representative in external partner and stakeholder discussions, leading communication and marketing efforts to promote the regional brand, and building pipelines to enhance community awareness and engagement with available services. They also proactively engage with employers in key industries to plan and build out an access point model and follow all protocols set forth by the funder. Your Impact on Career Team's Success : Work collaboratively with the community and partner organizations to meet customer needs, particularly in the areas relevant to the program emphasis Represents the company (when designated by the Project Director) discussions, planning processes, continuous improvement processes, and/or special initiatives Facilitate operational and tactical connections with partner organizations (and program staff) relevant to improving or scaling existing resources available to WIOA-enrolled customers, ensuring intentional relationship-building with community and other stakeholders Strong business acumen Polished presentations skills Play a leadership role in communication efforts and initiatives (traditional and social marketing channels) relevant to promoting the regional brand and increasing the impact of outreach, marketing, and customer engagement Assist with the coordination of any special events at the American Job Centers (AJC) or in the community relevant to increasing performance outcomes Build and improve existing pipelines for customers to American Job Centers Enhance community awareness of and engagement with available services and resources Maintain accurate and thorough completion of required documentation and reports Approach each day and task with a solutions-oriented and responsive mindset Other duties and programs as needed To Qualify for This Role, You Must Have : Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, public relations, or community organization or development 3+ years of experience in business, marketing, public relations, education, human and/or workforce development services Knowledgeable about the WIOA program and other workforce program requirements A demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient in maintaining a high level of confidentiality Knowledgeable about the local region and relevant partners (preferred) Ability to work in a variety of settings with a culturally diverse customer base with the ability to be culturally sensitive Sharp attention to detail with strong organizational, analytical, research, and critical thinking skills Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel), PowerPoint, Canva, Google, case management or customer relations software applications Exceptional time management skills to meet deadlines and work under pressure Excellent verbal and written communication skills A Valid Driver's License Additional Skills/Knowledge Career Team Would Love for This Role : Master's or MBA degree Knowledgeable about the local region and relevant partners Astounding ability to multitask and be proactive Salary : $52,000 - $54,500/yr Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
