Oversees Institute operations, reporting to Director, interfacing with faculty and staff
Prepares monthly budget analyses of all grant, gift, endowment funds for review with leadership and interfacing with DISC, Finance and other external stakeholders
Oversees one FTE department coordinator to direct communications (web, email, social media); coordinates with other staff working on project and school related communications
Develops agendas and tracks action items for key meetings in collaboration with leadership
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required.
Master's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Administration, or a related field preferred.
5+ years' experience in finance, research administration, sponsored research, grants management, or a related field.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and build productive relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.
Requirements
Experience supporting sponsored research activities in higher education, healthcare, nonprofit, or research environments.
Familiarity with federal and private grant funding mechanisms.
Experience preparing grant budgets and administrative proposal materials.
Knowledge of research compliance, post-award administration, and financial reporting.
Experience working with faculty investigators and research teams.
