Job Description: When you join us, you'll become a part of a nationally recognized health system dedicated to our mission of "helping people live the healthiest lives possible." About this role: This Advanced Practice Provider (APP; nurse practitioner or physician assistant) will be an integral member of the Neurosciences team at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah-a Comprehensive Stroke Center and Level I Trauma Center. In this role, you will partner closely with a neurosurgeon and another APP to provide care for patients with a broad range of neurosurgical conditions, including traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and tumors. Responsibilities include delivering care across the outpatient clinic and inpatient settings, as well as occasionally first-assisting in neurosurgical procedures in the operating room. In this position, you can expect to: Practice at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah Primarily see patients the outpatient clinic, with some dedicated time spent in surgical cases and rounding/consulting in the hospital Typically work a 4x10 schedule, with ability to be flexible based on call and surgical needs Provide call coverage in support of the neurosurgeon, approximately 7 days per month, including weekdays, nights, weekends, and holidays An ideal candidate is a flexible team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and demonstrates a strong interest in learning and professional growth.
