About the role
This position is part of the National Archives and Records Administration, The incumbent of this position is located within the Office of Research Services, Digitization Division, serving as a first line supervisor. As such, the incumbent is responsible for assisting in the planning, directing, coordinating, and controlling of the internal and partnership digitization activities of the employees assigned. Specialized experience for this position is defined as experience: Leading a team, program, or project; AND Utilizing archival principles relating to holding security, reference, processing, digitization, and accessioning concepts or laws, to provide advice and guidance to management relative to incorporating program strategies and goals into operational processes and work plans; AND Managing multiple priorities. In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following requirements, if applicable (as defined in 5 CFR 300, Subpart F): Time-in-Grade: For the GS-13, you must have been at the GS-12 level for 52 weeks. Time After Competitive Appointment: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
