AI Engineer - Graduate Development Program

Responsibilities

• Across phases, you will gain hands-on experience with state-of-the-art methodologies and technologies in our agile product development environment. This role is designed to grow well rounded AI professionals, with a solid foundation in software engineering to bring models into production.
• Contributing directly to the development of ION's products, from requirements through to
• delivery
• Design, develop, train, evaluate and iterate on Machine Learning models and Generative AI
• solutions
• Work with Language Models (LLMs) and related techniques (e.g., prompt engineering, RAG,
• embeddings, fine-tuning, evaluation)
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to build and ship innovative, high-impact products
• Solving complex technical problems and translating them into scalable, efficient solutions

Requirements

• Master's degree in a STEM discipline - obtained within the last year or currently in progress, with a strong academic record
• Programming experience in one or more of: Python, Typescript, JavaScript
• Strong communicator, collaborative by nature, and fluent in English (B2+)
• Based in Italy or willing to relocate; non-EU candidates must hold a valid EU work permit
