Sr. Data Science Consultant - 2 ( Python , ML , Data Science)

Responsibilities

• Extend and optimize classifiers using advanced machine learning techniques.
• Conduct data mining using cutting-edge methods and tools.
• Work as part of a regional and global support team, supporting customer running Pricing solutions and in the future our Cognitive solutions.
• Integrate third-party data sources to enhance the company's datasets when necessary.
• Refine data collection procedures to ensure relevant data is available for analytic systems.
• Process, cleanse, and verify the integrity of data used for analysis.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis and present results clearly to stakeholders and customers.
• Address customer concerns regarding forecasting issues and data quality, and write codes to perform forecasting checks.
• Adhere to ITIL standards for support case management when working with our customers, adhere and achieved specified SLAs and Case Quality
• Building custom scripts and logic using advance ML and AI techniques to solve business problems

Requirements

• Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms (e.g., Linear Regression, K-Means Clustering, Naive Bayes).
• Proficiency in data science toolkits such as Python, NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Seaborn (expertise in at least two is required).
• Experience in supply chain concepts and statistical analysis.
• Knowledge of operations research concepts, including integer, linear, and stochastic programming.
• Strong critical and operational thinking skills.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Streamlit and Power BI.
• Proficiency in query languages such as SQL and Snowflake, or Python-based SQL wrappers.
• Solid grounding in applied statistics, including distributions, hypothesis testing, and regression analysis.
• Bonus skills: familiarity with Dask/parallel processing, Airflow orchestration tools, Postman/API integration.
• Strong scripting and programming capabilities.
• Data-driven mindset with an eye for detail.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science with a focus on Data Science with 5- 8 Years of experience

Scope: As a Data Science Consultant, you will be a will be responsible for advising the customer and recommending software configuration alternatives to optimize the solution so that the customer may realize the maximum value from the software. You will be part of a larger global team spanning across India and EMEA. Strong communication and leadership abilities are essential, as you will mentor junior team members.
