As the Principal Enterprise Architect, you will: Translate corporate strategy and business transformation goals into actionable architecture blueprints that balance ambition with operational readiness and ensure architecture investments deliver tangible business value. Lead the multi-year architecture strategy and roadmap for Aritzia's corporate systems domain - spanning Finance & Legal Tech, People & Culture Tech, SAP ERP, and cross-functional enterprise platforms - ensuring alignment with Aritzia's corporate objectives and investment priorities with clear, sequenced outcomes. Drive modernization across the Finance, Legal, and People & Culture Technology domains, ensuring flexibility and future-readiness. Lead the architecture vision for modernizing SAP ECC, including the strategic migration to S/4HANA. Architect robust, scalable integration patterns between SAP, HR, Finance, Legal, and enterprise data platforms-defining a cohesive integration strategy that spans API-led connectivity, event-driven architectures, middleware (EDI, iDoc), and cloud integration platforms (SAP Integration Suite, MuleSoft, or equivalent). Evaluate and rationalize enterprise SaaS platforms to reduce vendor sprawl, improve capability alignment, and optimize total cost of ownership. Establish and maintain organizational architectural standards to ensure new solutions are secure and scalable Mentor enterprise architects and senior engineers across the organization, elevating architectural thinking, technical quality, and the discipline of translating business problems into well-reasoned technology strategies. THE QUALIFICATIONS The Principal Enterprise Architect has p roven skills, certifications, education, and/or experience: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent. Advanced degree is an asset. SAP certification in one or more relevant modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, HCM) preferred. TOGAF, SABSA, or equivalent enterprise architecture framework certification is an asset. Experience with retail or vertically integrated business models is strongly preferred. 15+ years of progressive experience in enterprise architecture, ERP delivery, or IT strategy, with significant tenure in complex, multi-system environments. At least 5 years in a principal or lead architect capacity with direct accountability for architecture strategy across multiple corporate functions. Deep expertise in enterprise ERP architecture, including SAP ECC and S/4HANA, with experience leading full lifecycle ERP transformations in complex, multisystem environments.
