J ob Description: As an Associate IT Operations Engineer, you will be part of our global Operations department. You will be working shifts with a team of IT Operations Engineers that cover our 24/7 operations. This position works with open-source technologies such as Linux, Apache, Tomcat, and Icinga, along with Windows, and some DTN proprietary software. What you will be responsible for: Apply professional-level technical skill and judgement to provide non-routine technical support for IT operations. Focusing on quick outage recovery and root cause analysis Manage incidents and communicate highly technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel Create timely and accurate event notifications and incident logs Assist with systems administration, maintenance, and hardware and software upgrades Add to our knowledge database, to ensure expertise sharing and learning from engineers located in various countries takes place What you will bring to the role: 1-2 years professional experience in an international 24/7 environment Knowledge of Windows and Linux administration (Redhat/CentOS/Debian/Fedora) for complex production environments Technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
