Job Description:
The Vice President, RCM Pre-Sales, Product & Vendor Management is responsible for leading strategic growth and operational alignment across Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) solution consulting, product strategy, and vendor performance management. This executive leader partners closely with Sales, Operations, Client Success, Technology, and Finance teams to drive revenue growth, optimize vendor partnerships, and ensure scalable, market-leading RCM solutions.
The role serves as a strategic bridge between commercial strategy and operational execution by supporting complex client pursuits, guiding product direction, and overseeing third-party vendor relationships that support RCM delivery capabilities. The Vice President will drive innovation, operational efficiency, and market competitiveness while ensuring alignment with organizational goals, client expectations, and regulatory requirements.
Pre-Sales & Solution Strategy
Lead the RCM pre-sales strategy in partnership with Sales and Executive Leadership teams.
Serve as executive subject matter expert during complex sales pursuits, client presentations, RFP responses, and finalist presentations.
Develop customized RCM solution models aligned to client operational, financial, and technology objectives.
Partner with Sales to assess market opportunities, competitive positioning, pricing strategies, and growth initiatives.
Collaborate with Operations and Finance teams to develop scalable and profitable client solution structures.
Support contract negotiations and operational transition planning for new client engagements.
Establish standard methodologies, tools, and frameworks for solution design and pre-sales support activities.
Product Management & Strategic Enablement
Lead strategic direction and roadmap alignment for RCM-related products, services, and operational capabilities.
Partner with Product, Technology, and Operations teams to identify market trends, client needs, and innovation opportunities.
Drive development and enhancement of operational workflows, reporting capabilities, automation initiatives, and analytics solutions.
Evaluate product performance metrics, client feedback, and operational outcomes to prioritize enhancements and investments.
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure successful implementation and adoption of new products and service offerings.
Champion continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency, scalability, and client satisfaction.
Support go-to-market strategies and enablement efforts for new RCM capabilities and services.
Vendor Management & Operational Oversight
Lead enterprise vendor management strategy for RCM operational and technology partners.
Establish governance frameworks, performance standards, service level agreements (SLAs), and accountability measures for vendor relationships.
Oversee vendor performance through data-driven metrics, operational reviews, and quality management processes.
Partner with Procurement, Legal, Compliance, and Operations teams to negotiate contracts and manage vendor risk.
Ensure vendors meet operational, compliance, security, and client service expectations.
Identify opportunities to optimize vendor utilization, cost structures, and operational performance.
Manage escalation processes and resolution strategies for critical vendor-related operational issues.
Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Build and lead high-performing teams across pre-sales, product strategy, and vendor management functions.
Develop organizational capabilities through coaching, mentoring, and succession planning.
Partner with Executive Leadership to align strategic priorities, operational initiatives, and growth objectives.
Foster collaborative relationships across Sales, Operations, Technology, Finance, Compliance, and Client Success organizations.
Drive accountability through performance metrics, operational reviews, and strategic business planning.
Promote a culture of innovation, operational excellence, and client-focused execution.
Education & Experience:
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or related field required.
Master's degree preferred.
