About the role
Minimise equipment downtime and improve equipment availability by being accountable for delivering and reducing machine turnaround time. Carry out specific targeted training as required, and ensure Compliance Wire training requirements are carried out within specified due dates Recommend improvements to the batch manufacturing process, SOP's to increase process efficiency and effectiveness and maintain 5S and continuous improvement activities. Ensure that all interactions and engagements are carried out with the highest ethical and professional standards and that all work is accomplished with quality and in accordance with Catalent values. Perform other duties as assigned. The Candidate: High School Diploma, GED/CAEC and/or educational credential assessment (ECA) is required. 2 years or more of experience in manufacturing environment is preferred, GMP work experience preferred, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing experience is an advantage. This role is required is to be clean shaven to wear a respirator, which is deemed mandatory to meet Health & Safety requirements. Good math skills and Capable of operating related computer applications. Ability to work independently, as required and complete daily activities and work cooperatively in teams, communicates clearly and has effective listening skills. Good standard of oral and written English and ability to follow written instructions. Able to complete written batch records. Candidates with non-Canadian credentials must provide an evaluation confirming the Canadian equivalency of the credentials as determined by the Alliance of Credential Evaluation Services of Canada (ACESC) such as WES. This position does not qualify for sponsorship. Frequent standing, walking, climbing ladders/steps, reading written documents, and use of a computer monitor, as well as talking and listening; occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, carrying, reaching with hands and arms; occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 kg; and may be exposed to inclement weather or required to work in environments that require the use of protective gear and heightened awareness of personal and others' safety.
