Carnegie Mellon University's department of Electrical and Computer Engineering is seeking a Research Associate that will support an ongoing human neurostimulation study and will be responsible for assisting with participant recruitment, study coordination, data collection, and experiment execution. The position will involve working directly with research participants during neurostimulation experiments, maintaining study documentation, and assisting with data management and analysis as needed. Core Responsibilities: Identifies problems and obstacles to progress; develops strategies to solve problems. May program software in support of job functions. Attends project meetings. Performs research experiments following experimental protocol and procedures. Research and documents information by compiling and maintaining accurate and detailed records. Summarizes statistical information for analysis, examination or presentation; writes technical reports. May build and validate quantitative models. Uses a variety of software packages to input, manipulate, collect and record results or observations.
