The Line Services Technician will be the first point of contact for F.l.T. Aviation's customers, Flight Instructors and students on our ramp. Line Service Technicians are responsible for assuring that all F.l.T. Aviation aircraft are properly fueled and oiled before each flight. Responsibilities Include: Ensure that proper Federal Aviation Authority and Transportation Security Administration rules and regulations are followed at all times Marshal aircraft to and from parking area using international hand signals Provides exemplary customer service to all fight arrival members Maintains fuel storage farm and comply with all quality control procedures Drives refueling trucks and towing equipment Provides fuel service for reciprocating engine airplanes and helicopters with low lead aviation gasoline using 1,000 through 3,000 gallon fuel trucks Assists passengers with luggage load and unload, as necessary Maintain two-way communication with customer service desk using two-way radios Tows aircraft in and out of the hangar for servicing, repairs, storage and/or parking, as needed Cleans the interior and exterior of ground support vehicles and equipment, as needed Operates ground power unit for external electrical power Makes and delivers coffee, ice, catering, etc. to customers, as needed Strong customer service skills and the ability to follow protocol for maintaining a safe working environment are of the utmost importance in this position Light equipment maintenance and general upkeep of airport facilities Aircraft care and upkeep, including the wash and wax rotation of fleet Perform Coordinate all activities and complete all work required/assigned by D.O.M., Shift Supervisor or supervising A&P Mechanics Duties may include: Hanger maintenance Admin assistance Parts and material runner Shop equipment maintenance Requirements Include: Education/Special Training/Experience/Requirements: High School Diploma or GED Training in 14CFR139.321 preferred Desired Experience: Maintains a professional and courteous demeanor with all employees, students, and customers Must be dependable and able to work with minimal supervision Must follow all safety policies and procedures Must maintain a positive attitude and professional image Must have computer skills Must be able to read, understand, and interpret instructions and information using the English language Previous customer service experience and general aviation knowledge preferred Knowledge of TFBO sales/inventory software preferred Physical and Ergonomic Information and Requirements: Must be able to use ladders, work stands, jacks, etc. and be able to work on all areas of the aircraft that may require access during performance of duties. Must be able to life, carry, or move aircraft components weighing up to 50 lbs.
