Education and Experience: Preferred
Experience in an inside sales role.
Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
ERP experience to identify stock, serial numbers, and sales orders.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities, Competencies
Proficient with Microsoft office tools including: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.
Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively.
Ability to build rapport with prospective and existing customers.
Interest in manufacturing technology and application.
Compensation Range (Annual)
$55,000-$65,000(depending on level and location)

Job Description
The Technical Sales Support Specialist is responsible for providing information to the Sales team on prospective sales opportunities, managing all inbound lead activity, qualifying interest, developing and closing sales opportunities. They will also prepare sales quotes and proposals to a professional standard, identify and develop new business opportunities, manage the lead and opportunity pipeline and understand the technical requirements of the customer.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Prospect, educate, and qualify leads and target accounts to create sales qualified leads and opportunities. Identify key decision makers, validate and fulfill request for information.
Research accounts, and prospect to establish contact, generate interest, develop accounts, and stimulate sales opportunities.
Aid in developing a strong lead-nurturing program for prospects.
Develop schedule of milestones for sales prospects.
Perform database segmentation and analysis.
Work closely with Marketing, Regional Sales Managers, Project Managers, Business Managers, Engineers, and Customer Service to determine strategic approaches for sales, ensuring the delivery commitment is met.
Ensure leads going to sales teams are high priority.
Update lead and prospect activity in CRM to ensure efficient lead management.
Produce a pre-determined number of quality appointments per month.
Achieve a high-quality rating on appointments as indicated by the sales team.
Administrative tasks include regular business correspondence, sales reports, sales scripts, and assisting in the development of sales tools.
Implementation of Sales & Marketing Plans for Renishaw products, services, programs and accounts.
Attend periodic industry events to develop expertise and to build network.
Remain knowledgeable and up to date on company products.
Any other duties as may be required.
