Certification : EMT Basic (EMT-B) in the state of Ohio.

Must be able to understand directions, communicate, and respond to inquiries; requires effective people skills.
Must be able to input and retrieve information from computer.
Must be proficient in the use of a computer.
Knowledge of IP radio, phone, dispatch, and recording systems.
Knowledge of security systems.
EMS CAD, Epic and Image Trend operational procedures

Job Summary:
ACCOUNTABILITIES
*All duties listed below are essential unless noted otherwise*
Receive, triage, and schedule all ground and air to ground patient transports.
Organizes facility schedules for Zoll/Logis entry and Dispatch processing. Coordinates daily schedule adjustments and communicates with Care Navigation, Access, Field Supervision and Facilities.
Ensured daily efficient processing of all ProMedica Enterprise transport requests, in conjunction with Care Navigation, Access, Field Supervision, and Facilities.
Processes all transportation requests following Priority responses within established metrics.
Effectively and accurately inputs all transport data and related communications within the CAD system.
Effectively dispatches and tracks Ambulances and Ambulette's to proper originating and receiving facilities utilizing established procedures and protocols.
Escalates any scheduling conflicts or transport delays to the Systems Supervisor.
Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education : Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.
Skills : Must be able to organize effectively, pay close mindfulness and perform functions with minimal supervision. Must have excellent people skills.
