About the role

The Project & Customer Support Engineer is responsible for leading the execution of a project, developing its planning, control, and coordination from initiation to completion, with the aim of meeting the established deadlines, ensuring the quality previously agreed with the client, and achieving the defined economic margins. Specific Tasks: Serving as the main point of contact with the client throughout the entire manufacturing process and until the closure of warranty periods. Execution of spare parts and duplicate pump projects, monitoring production progress across the different Operations areas, such as Engineering, Purchasing, Production, Finance, and Logistics, overseeing, among others, the following phases: Production release. Purchasing. Arrangement of materials from stock. Manufacturing of materials sourced from external suppliers and from the company's own facilities. Material receipts. Quality inspections. Non-conformities management. Technical and quality documentation generated in accordance with project requirements. Deliveries and logistics. Invoicing. Potential warranty claims. Project planning. Identification of risks that may impact project success and proactive anticipation through corrective measures. Liaison with suppliers and negotiation of terms and conditions. Client interaction and ability to work under pressure. Coordination with other Sulzer Group sites worldwide, both to support ongoing projects and to provide the necessary information for forecasting monthly and annual results. Accountability for the project's financial performance. Management of project transportation and logistics. Proactive participation in and support of company initiatives aimed at promoting a culture of workplace safety, environmental protection, and continuous improvement.
