Experience developing an industrial lab in a college setting, such as a Machining, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Technologies
Experience working in diverse multicultural situations
Community college or technical school teaching experience
Excellent presentation skills including strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to motivate students of diverse backgrounds and learning styles
Computer literate in MS Office
Excellent planning and organizational skills; ability to meet deadlines
Industrial Certifications such as NIMS, NC3
Schedule: MTT courses will be primarily taught at the CSN Henderson Campus, and the City of Henderson Debra March Center of Excellence, in-person and may be scheduled during the day, evenings, and or weekends.
Salary: $925.00 per credit hour. Credits will vary by semester.

Job Description
Applications will be considered on an as-needed basis determined by course availability
Responsibilities of a Part Time Machining Instructor include but are not limited to:
Lecture and or Lab instruction for Machine Tool Technology (MTT) courses coving topics such as:
Metrology
Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Machining
CNC Milling and Turning (Lathe)
CADD and Additive or Subtractive Manufacturing
Demonstrate and assist students with lab procedures and ensure adherence to safety precautions
Develop syllabi and course materials. Instruct students in accordance with curriculum standards and objectives
Independently evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes
Make necessary provisions to meet learning needs
Provide advisement to students
Attend staff meetings and recruitment activities as requested
Required Qualifications:
Associate of Applied Science degree in Machining or related engineering field
OR
5 years of relevant industry experience
