Job Summary
Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities
Ensures efficient development and execution of pricing plans while driving enhancements across pricing practices, incorporating new data sources, and ensuring the most efficient and accurate processes are in place.
Develops and maintains a strategic roadmap for pricing initiatives in partnership with internal stakeholders, including efforts to advance and automate the price-setting process, pricing segmentation, annual financial planning, and tools and template development for the pricing team.
Acts as a thought leader for pricing strategy, tools, and process improvements.
Ensures execution of strategic pricing initiatives, including pricing sophistication, competitive pricing analysis, and pricing segmentation, while coordinating with pricing leaders and other areas as appropriate.
Drives discounting and rebate strategies and new product monetization approaches through pricing strategy and market insights, while facilitating pricing discussions with the leadership team.
Leads leaders and teams to include staffing model design, development, and performance management while identifying and driving operational efficiencies.

Work Environment
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.
Education and Experience
Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 10+ years of experience in a related field, including several years in a management role having significant business impact.
