Red Hat OpenShift Engineer

About the role

Our client, a leading professional services organization, is in need of a Red Hat OpenShift Engineer for an initial 6 month full remote contract. The Red Hat OpenShift Engineer would be responsible for supporting the design / deployment of Red Hat OpenShift onto Nutanix as our customers has a steadily growing pipeline of these requests. They would also be responsible for attending customer ceremonies (Scrum / Kanban), document and build CI / CD pipelines, document and build Infrastructure as Code, and work with Docker and Kubernetes to create and schedule containers for deployments. Required Skills - At least 5 - 7 years of experience supporting the design and deployment of Red Hat OpenShift. - Experience deploying Red Hat OpenShift onto Nutanix. - Experience supporting Nutanix AOS (Acropolis Operating System) and AHV (Acropolis Hypervisor). - Experience managing continuous integration systems with Jenkins, Hudson, etc. - Experience using automated config and deployment tools like Puppet, Chef, SaltStack, etc. - Experience deploying Red Hat OpenShift in either a Linux or Windows environment. - Python, Ruby and / or GO scripting experience. The posted range is an estimate. The actual compensation offer will be based on the candidate's experience, skills, qualifications and will be in line with internal equity.
