SAP EWM Functional Consultant/Lead

Responsibilities

• Warehouse Design & Configuration Define warehouse structures: warehouse numbers, storage types, sections, bins, and activity areas.
• Align SAP EWM setup with the physical warehouse layout.
• Inbound & Outbound Processes Configure inbound processes: goods receipt, putaway strategies, slotting.
• Configure outbound processes: picking (wave, batch, zone), packing, goods issue.
• Integration Work with SAP MM, PP, and TM modules for seamless logistics operations.
• Support integration with automated warehouse systems and RF/mobile data entry.
• Execution & Monitoring Implement warehouse task and order management.
• Support labor management, yard management, and exception handling.
• Project Support
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements.
• Provide training, documentation, and post-go-live support.
• Required Skills & Experience
• Experience Range: 7-12 years overall, with at least 3-5 years in SAP EWM (embedded in S/4HANA).
• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of inbound/outbound logistics processes.
• Familiarity with RF framework and mobile data entry.
• Ability to configure warehouse execution processes.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to work in hybrid/remote environments.
• Analytical problem-solving and documentation skills.
