ASM is looking for a Talent Management Director reporting to the Global Head of Talent, Leadership & Culture (TLC). You will work closely with other Center of Excellence teams, HR Business Partners (HRBPs), and business leaders to accelerate change across all COE critical pillars. Working as an individual contributor, you will be responsible for co-developing the ASM Talent Management strategy with an in-depth understanding of business priorities and talent needs required to strengthen the leadership bench across the organization. A critical dimension of this role is bringing outside-in perspectives , continuously scanning the semiconductor ecosystem and the broader technology industry for emerging talent trends, best practices, and competitive intelligence to ensure ASM's talent frameworks remain future-ready and ahead of the curve in a rapidly evolving market. The incumbent is also responsible for supporting HRBPs in identifying talent through potential and performance assessments, engaging and retaining talent through high-touch, relevant initiatives, and supporting top talent development and succession management. The Talent Management Director also contributes to driving the Leadership Development curricula as well as critical talent processes and ExCo and Supervisory Board Talent presentations. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Outside-In Perspective & Thought Leadership Bring outside-in perspectives by actively benchmarking ASM's talent practices against semiconductor peers and leading technology companies, identifying gaps and opportunities to elevate our talent frameworks, processes, and initiatives Monitor emerging trends in talent management, leadership development, workforce planning, and organizational design across the semiconductor value chain and adjacent high-tech industries, translating insights into actionable recommendations for ASM Develop thought leadership and relevant points of view on Talent Management, enabling ASM to leverage "Buy, Build, and Bridge" talent solutions grounded in industry best practices and market intelligence Cultivate and maintain a robust external network of talent management professionals, industry analysts, academic institutions, and thought leaders to ensure a continuous flow of fresh perspectives into the organization Act as an active participant and visible representative in Talent Management conferences, industry forums, and professional communities, bringing back insights that inform ASM's talent agenda Talent Strategy & Processes Co-define and co-implement strategic Talent priorities with the Global Head of Talent, Leadership & Culture in line with the business strategy and ASM's growth trajectory Own end-to-end Talent Management processes including Talent Reviews, Talent Deep Dives with ExCo members, KPIs and data reporting, People Managers Playbook, succession planning, retention framework, and leadership potential calibration sessions Design and implement innovative, high-impact talent management programs to improve the bench strength of leadership talent across all entities and geographies Support the top talent nomination process linked to ASM's flagship Leadership Development programs Monitor the effectiveness of talent initiatives through the ASM Talent Dashboard, aligned with Learning and Talent Acquisition dashboards, ensuring data-driven decision-making Stakeholder Engagement & Consulting Act as a trusted point of contact to managers at all levels on Talent Management topics, actively consulting with HRBPs and the Global Head of Talent, Leadership & Culture Develop strong, credible relationships with senior leaders, managers, employees, and HR colleagues across the organization, managing expectations related to talent management and career development Train and equip managers to understand Talent Review pillars - including potential, performance over time, and retention assessments - developing consistent language, tools, and awareness across the organization Development, Coaching & Alignment Coach employees and managers on career development topics and drive coaching and mentoring initiatives across the organization Align Talent initiatives with Learning & Development and Talent Acquisition priorities to ensure an integrate
