As a Production Team Leader, you'll be part of our Mission team located in Mission, TX. You'll get to:
Report equipment, personnel and process issues to the Department Supervisor.
Perform a variety of tasks to install, set up, and maintain production machines and peripheral equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment including PLCs, digital and analog devices, drivers, relays, capacitors, fuses, switches, thermocouples and heating resistors.
Diagnose and repair mechanical equipment such as pumps, motors, cylinders, encoders, actuators, rotary devices and directional control valves.
Troubleshoot and maintain fluid flow systems including hydraulic, pneumatic, cooling and heating systems.
Complete assigned preventive maintenance work orders according to the established schedule.
Prioritize and execute corrective maintenance work orders as needed.
Document all preventive and corrective maintenance activities in the Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
Accurately complete all regulatory and compliance-related documentation and procedures.
Notify relevant personnel regarding spare parts inventory usage and follow up on restocking as necessary.
Review equipment manuals, blueprints and electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics to determine test specifications and maintenance requirements.
Implement equipment improvements to reduce downtimes and scrap.
Performs all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment in line with 5S principles.
Support Continuous Improvement and automation projects.
Requirements
High School diploma or GED required; Associates Degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial maintenance highly recommended.
Minimum of two years of hands-on experience as Maintenance Technician with knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and electronic systems.
Proficient in reading, interpreting and understanding electrical and electronic diagrams and schematics.
Skilled in analyzing and resolving mechanical and electrical problems.
Basic knowledge of low-voltage electrical installations (110/220v).
Understanding of AC/DC motor fundamentals
Familiarity with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
Experience operating basic power tools, including drills, emery tools and milling machines.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to anticipate issues.
High attention to detail and self-motivation.
Certified to operate a man (scissor) lift, or willingness to complete training and obtain certification.
Flexible schedule; ability to rotate shifts (day or night) and work overtime as needed.
