Job Details: Job Summary: This position is primarily responsible for performing stores functions by using physical and inventory software management systems. The Store person is responsible for warehouse and stores deliveries, adhering to inventory management process and reporting. This position will also drive the stores vehicle for appropriate company pickups and deliveries to meet business needs. This position typically works under general supervision and direction. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Be accountable for the end to end control of Cubic Assets Assist and support inventory management processes, work instructions and standard operational procedures in accordance with the company's quality system to ensure compliance Issue and receive inventory as per operating procedures. This includes manual handling of incoming goods as required and timely data entry into Cubic warehouse asset management system of received/moved stock Ensure all equipment is properly handled, programmed, accurately accounted for physically and electronically Track quantities, perform inventory cycle counts, periodic stock take, and resolve discrepancies of inventory May monitor equipment and consumables usage and organise replenishment when required. Ensuring major modules and consumables are available to meet delivery demands Deliver and pick up customer equipment returns, and other items as directed using a company vehicle Manage the inbound / outbound functions includes liaising with freight companies and suppliers Process field returns from customers and install teams Accurate Data Entry in Service Now for Inventory Controls Ensure all parts are received in Service Now by Cubic Technicians before leaving Warehouse Prepare Bus Installation kits as requested May conduct Cubic vehicle audits, checks and stock takes as per Cubic's processes Assist with the annual audit & monthly assets reconciliation report and distribution to customer Escalate issues in the day-to-day operations for resolution Perform workshop (RMA) job creation for faulty assets/stock received from the field Share knowledge with wider services teams regarding inventory management processes Maintain a sound knowledge of WHSE and take an active part in safety issues as required, particularly in areas of manual handling and the handling/storage of hazardous materials Report all WHSE incidents, potential hazards, near misses and accidents General Duties and Responsibilities: Comply with Cubic's Quality Management System Comply with Cubic Occupational Health, Safety and Environment policies and procedures Comply with security in accordance with established policies and procedures of the organizations Comply with Cubic Human Resources Procedures Other duties as requested Minimum Job Requirements: Essential: Driver's license Forklift driver's license Desirable: Qualifications or certification in warehouse operations Skills/Experience/Knowledge Essential: Relevant experience within a stores/warehouse environment (EA Only Grade 1: may have less than 12 months experience, Grade 2: must have at least 12 months experience) Knowledge and understanding of ServiceNow Good numeracy and literacy skills Proficient in the use of the inventory management system Proficient in keyboarding, data entry and computing skills Desirable: Demonstrated experience in inventory management, stock taking, annual audits and monthly asset reconciliation reporting. Proficiency using Microsoft Office suite and experience in the usage of Metrix or any other inventory management system.
