Conduct and manage Phase I & II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) and related soil, vapor and groundwater contaminant investigations
Manage active remediation sites and related services
Generate cost estimates for environmental investigation and remediation projects
Coordinate, perform, and direct staff and subcontractors for field tasks
Train and mentor new staff
Prepare and execute scope of work proposals
Produce and review applicable reports and regulatory documents
Manage projects for the entire life cycle, including direct communications clients, regulators, and internal stakeholders
Required Skills:
Ability to independently analyze and interpret technical reports, technical guidance documents, and governmental regulations pertaining to environmental projects
Strong technical writing skills
Effective communication for clients, regulators, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
Ability to independently solve practical problems and manage daily project variables
High attention to detail and great organizational skills to keep projects on schedule and within budget
Required Experience:
B.S. degree or higher in Geology, Earth or Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Chemistry, or related field
3-5 years related experience in environmental assessment and remediation through Texas-based regulatory programs (see below)
Experience with regulatory programs & regulations:
§ Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ)
§ Railroad Commission of Texas (RRC)
§ Texas Risk Reduction Program (TRRP)
§ Voluntary Cleanup Program (VCP)
§ Industrial and Hazardous Waste (IHW) Corrective Action Program
§ Leaking Petroleum Storage Tank (LPST) Program
Additional Preferred Experience:
Professional Geoscientist (P.G.) or Professional Engineer (P.E.)
Geologist-in-Training (GIT) or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with desire to obtain P.G. or P.E.
Spill response, remediation oversight, and associated reporting
Industrial compliance
Demonstrated history of client development and/or staff supervision

$66,000.00 - $99,000.00
