Siemens Healthineers Shared Accounting Service organization seeks an Accounting Manager - Principles and Methods to become part of its Technical Accounting team in North America (NAM). As an individual contributor, this position will be responsible for reviewing contracts, accounting, researching, documenting, and implementing accounting positions in line with IFRS requirements. This person will work collaboratively with various business units, across functional groups, auditors and HQ teams to understand business transactions and to form well-reasoned accounting judgments and conclusions while also making a significant impact that drives positive change and leads to improved financial results. Role: Leads accounting interpretation and advisory for businesses, with a focus on IFRS 15 - Revenue Recognition and IFRS 16 - Leasing and other IFRS-related topics. Develops white papers under Siemens Healthineers Financial Regulations (SHS FRGs) to analyze and interpret complex, non-standard transactions, and helps establish new policies and clarify existing guidance. Oversees accounting of several entities including periodic analytical reviews/approvals, review of local/statutory Financial Statements, reconciliations, JV approvals, assistance with external reporting, and general accounting guidance. Key role player, both from accounting and project management perspective, in implementation of new IFRS requirements and other AC projects e.g. new acquisitions, AC system integration. Serves as a trusted partner to key business stakeholders, supporting strategic objectives. Acts as a key liaison bridging complex revenue recognition system with SHS FRG requirements, ensuring alignment and clarity. Drives operational improvements to enhance accounting efficiency while supporting seamless business operations. Partners cross-functionally and cross-organizationally to advise on accounting implications of new commercial and operational transactions. Serves as a subject matter expert in aligning legacy accounting practices with new system requirements as part of ERP implementation initiatives. Serves as subject matter expert on regulatory topics including EU Foreign Subsidies Regulation (FSR). Balances achievement of organizational financial KPIs while ensuring adherence to financial reporting requirements. Displays critical thinking under tight timelines and pressure, brings successful resolution to topics and ensures they are aligned with Siemens Financial Reporting Guidelines. Core Requirements: 10 + years of public and/or industry experience including working in technical accounting groups. At least bachelor's degree in related discipline. IFRS/GAAP knowledge with ability to write well-reasoned position papers. Proficient in ERP e.g., SAP and in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel. Ability to multi-task and prioritize. Excellent verbal, written communications, and interpersonal skills Language Mastery: Fluent in English, both written and oral. Willing to travel, up to 10%. The base pay range for this position is: $126,190 - $173,514 Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan.
