Your territory will cover the Northeast region. Primary responsibilities/essential functions: Support territory growth in the market by partnering with the Retirement Plan salesforce as they drive new business opportunities and sales across the large institutional retirement plan segment. Promote the Capital Group platform broadly to establish self as a trusted advisor and diversify the pipeline with meaningful engagement across the entire prospect universe. Serve as an institutional relationship expert for division management as well as internal and external sales force members. In conjunction with regional salesforce members, develop and execute territory market business plans to raise assets with institutional prospects in the plan market. In partnership with RP sales teams, identify and execute on cross-selling opportunities with current clients, including the introduction of new product rollouts. Support the RP sales teams as they drive territory growth through building a healthy pipeline across all stages of the sales cycle. Act as the single institutional point of contact for the assigned RP division including leveraging the institutional team and coordinating resources. Effectively collaborate with the broader functional teams (marketing, product management, institutional sales, and support teams; investment group; client analytics, investment specialists; retirement specialist group; consultant RM team) to drive awareness of institutional client needs and to drive sales. Strong understanding of the institutional retirement marketplace and client needs. Proven consultative selling, communication, critical thinking, and presentation skills. Demonstrate an understanding of the institutional marketplace and client needs, including ability to identify issues and recommend solutions on complex and broad matters. Demonstrate ability to understand and represent complex investment products, strategies, and solutions with prospects. Series 7, 63, and 66 licenses or equivalent. Capital Group is required by state specific laws to include the salary for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The base salary for this role is $175,000-$200,000 + applicable bonuses. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits.
