We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Salesforce System Analyst to serve as the Salesforce Domain Owner and Business Liaison for our organization. This individual will take full ownership of the Salesforce platform (Sales Cloud and Marketo ecosystem), acting as the technical authority and strategic partner for sales and marketing operations. The ideal candidate is a seasoned Salesforce professional with deep administrative expertise, strong certification credentials, and the ability to independently manage platform strategy, optimize configurations, drive adoption, and translate business needs into scalable platform capabilities. What a day in the life looks like Platform Ownership & Administration: Act as the primary Salesforce owner, managing user access, security, data quality, system health, governance, and overall platform strategy. Requirements Analysis & Stakeholder Partnership: Gather and translate business requirements from sales, marketing, finance, and IT into clear functional specifications; prioritize, validate, and align solutions with business goals. Configuration & Optimization: Configure and enhance Salesforce using custom objects, fields, flows, validation rules, Lightning, and Apex-related configurations while maintaining performance, scalability, org health, and data integrity. Sales Operations Support: Partner with sales leadership to manage territories, account hierarchies, opportunity processes, pipeline management, forecasting, and process automation aligned to evolving sales strategy. Integrations Management: Design and oversee integrations with systems such as NetSuite, Workday, and Marketo, ensuring reliable APIs, middleware flows, and data synchronization. User Enablement & Documentation: Provide expert user support, training, and best-practice guidance while maintaining comprehensive documentation of configurations, integrations, processes, and platform changes. Testing, Change Management & Delivery: Support testing and UAT, manage defects and change requests, facilitate stakeholder sign-off, and help lead platform initiatives from planning through implementation. Continuous Improvement & Roadmap Planning: Identify opportunities to improve business processes, recommend enhancements, stay current with Salesforce releases and best practices, and contribute to long-term platform strategy. What you bring to the team Experience & Certifications: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) with 7+ years in Salesforce administration, analysis, or sales operations and 5+ years owning Salesforce platforms; Salesforce Administrator certification required, with additional certifications preferred. Salesforce Expertise: Advanced knowledge of Sales Cloud, including accounts, leads, opportunities, forecasting, territory management, and automation tools such as flows and validation rules. Technical Skills: Strong hands-on experience with platform configuration, change sets, sandbox management, Data Loader, deployment practices, and integrations using APIs and iPaaS tools such as MuleSoft or Celigo. Data & Systems Knowledge: Proficiency in SQL and SOQL, with experience integrating ERP systems-especially NetSuite-and marketing automation platforms such as Marketo. Business & Process Understanding: Deep understanding of sales operations, pipeline management, forecasting, customer lifecycle processes, and the translation of business requirements into effective technical solutions. Communication & Problem Solving: Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and technical documentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
