About the role
Conducts electrical and electro-mechanical fabrication support, troubleshooting, repair, and testing of integrated systems. Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to resolve assembly problems and improve processes. Maintain and follow health, safety, and quality standards during the assembly process. Completed technical education. Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar technical function. Proven experience with PCBA and wire harness a must. Excellent wire soldering, stripping, crimping, and heat shrink skills, cable shields including foil and braid. Capable of reading and understanding circuit diagrams, assembly drawings, and written work instructions. Experience using specialized crimping tools for attaching connector contacts and assembling circular and speciality connectors. Certifications related to electronics, soldering and cable/harness assemblies strongly desired (e.g. IPC 610, J-STD-001, IPC/WHMA-A-620) Experience working in ESD-sensitive environment. Knowledge of handling, charging, and safety protocols for different types of batteries. Expert proficiency working with miniature connectors and high-density PCBAs. Skilled at assembling complex electronic enclosures. Experience with PLM systems for tracking components and hardware revisions. Process-oriented and structured work methods. Good language skills in English (oral and written). German desirable. Location: On-site in Bilten, Switzerland. Eligibility: Swiss or EU citizens only.
