Responsibilities
- Responsible for driving and expanding the Japan OTC trading business, including commercial development, external relationship management, and coordination between internal and external stakeholders
- Oversee the full lifecycle of OTC trading activities, including counterparty onboarding, connectivity setup, pre- and post-trade processes, OMS account management, and day-to-day sales trading execution including trade booking

- What You Need to Succeed
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial markets, preferably within sales trading, mid office or other ETF-related roles
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Japanese is mandatory
- Solid understanding of ETFs, including market structure, liquidity dynamics, and trading mechanisms
- Basic knowledge of digital assets and corresponding market structure preferred
- Experience operating within Japanese financial markets, with a strong understanding of local market practices and client expectations
- Strong operational capabilities, with attention to detail and the ability to navigate Japanese business customs effectively
- Proven ability to develop, maintain, and strengthen long-term relationships with institutional counterparties, ETF issuers and exchanges
- The ability to facilitate the onboarding process of new counterparties in Japan, including coordination across internal stakeholders;
- Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with internal trading, risk and middle-office teams
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Bloomberg Terminal
