Typical operations include but are not limited to, show creation and operation, special events, theatre rentals, and other scheduled activities on property supported by the Entertainment Division and its programming. Ensure all Carpentry Section operations are conducted through positive interaction within an atmosphere that maximizes productivity and minimizes cost. Support the Carpentry Assistant Manager in maintaining a solid and productive working relationship with other Entertainment Department artists and staff. After suitable orientation, Carpentry Technicians may assist as secondary crew leads for relevant operations and special projects or tasks. Support the Carpentry Assistant Manager in maintaining artistic integrity and design intent for all relevant aspects of the show(s) content. Job Requirements: 1-2 years' experience as a theatrical carpenter or event stagehand preferred. Technical theatre background preferred. College Diploma and/or related technical accreditation and relevant experience preferred. Must possess fluent English language skills, both written and verbal communication. Ability to communicate in Cantonese and Mandarin (both written and verbal) helpful. Strong computer knowledge, including PC-based systems and MS Office software, is preferred. Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
