Responsibilities

• Lead and Mentor a Talented Team: You will manage and mentor a cross-functional team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. Your leadership skills will be pivotal in guiding the team through complex challenges and ensuring their professional growth.
• Drive Technical Vision and Strategy: As the SDM, you will play a crucial role in shaping the technical vision and AI strategy for the team. You will work closely with stakeholders, product managers, UX leads and PE's to align your roadmap with business objectives.
• Full-Stack Development Expertise: You will leverage your full-stack development experience to oversee the entire lifecycle of feature deliverables and influence the tech stack and testing strategy. Your hands-on expertise will be invaluable in guiding the team's technical decisions and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
• Agile Methodologies and DevOps Practices: You will champion agile methodologies and DevOps practices within the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, automated testing, operational excellence and efficient software delivery and release.
• Collaboration and Communication: This role is highly visible and involves working closely with UX team and product partners. Effective collaboration and communication skills are essential in this role. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including product partners and UX teams, ensuring alignment and seamless integration of efforts.

Requirements

• 3+ years of engineering team management experience
• 7+ years of engineering experience
• 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience
• Knowledge of engineering pract
