Responsibilities

  • Act as equipment owner, driving loss elimination through OEE improvement plans for assigned production machinery
  • Play a key role in production line launch and ramp-up, achieving targeted machine and process capabilities

  • Challenge existing work processes with the aim of optimizing headcount and improving efficiency
  • Lead root cause analyses for failures and implement preventive actions (methods, process, equipment), documenting investigation results
  • Work closely with quality, engineering, operations, maintenance, and design teams
  • Propose and support design changes and equipment modifications, including validation
  • Improve equipment process documentation and standards
  • Use ERP and MES diagnostic data to analyze production throughput and performance, driving improvements in key KPIs
  • Promote a zero-loss mindset and continuous improvement culture across the organization
  • Ensure and maintain 5S standards within the production area
  • Support capital improvement projects derived from OEE improvement plans
  • You will also have the authority to stop production if performance abnormalities or non-conformities threaten equipment integrity, product quality, or safety.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering, Production Management, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with Continuous Improvement methodologies such as Lean Management, Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S (IWS experience is a plus)
  • Ability to read technical documentation, mechanical drawings, and electrical diagrams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including statistical data analysis
  • Experience with 8D problem solving and Ishikawa diagrams
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and PFMEA
  • Knowledge of fundamental project management methodologies
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary, cross-functional, and multinational environments
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience in the battery industry
  • Knowledge of PowerBI and Netsuite
  • SEP 1kV certification
  • Min. salary starts at 10 000 PLN gross

We are looking for a Process Engineer to join the core team responsible for launching a new production line. After the start-up phase, you will take full ownership of assigned equipment and processes, driving their performance and continuous improvement. Initially, you will be part of the team responsible for commissioning and ramping up the production line to achieve the required machine and process capabilities. Once the line is stabilized, you will assume the role of equipment owner, taking full responsibility for the performance, reliability, and continuous improvement of assigned machines and processes.
