Control Monitoring & Insights Lead

About the role

The Control Monitoring & Insights Lead is responsible for establishing and operating Haleon's continuous risk and control monitoring capability across D&T. The role delivers ongoing surveillance of key controls, evaluates real‑time indicators of control health, and provides insight‑driven reporting on emerging risks. Through a combination of monitoring analytics, KRI measurement, and structured review processes, the role ensures that both operational and technology controls are performing as intended and that risk signals are detected early. Working as a second‑line function under the Independent Assessment and Monitoring Director, the Lead designs monitoring frameworks, selects KRIs, builds automated monitoring routines, and oversees analysts performing control performance reviews. The role partners closely with Risk Oversight, Control Assurance & Advisory, Tooling teams, InfoSec Cyber Defense, and first‑line control owners to ensure monitoring results drive timely remediation and sustainable control improvements. By offering continuous visibility into risk posture and control effectiveness, the role strengthens resilience, reduces audit risk, and ensures compliance with Haleon Written Standards and regulatory expectations.
