Responsibilities
- This position is responsible for delivering and picking up product in a timely and efficient manner. This position is also responsible for working in the yard/warehouse when not on deliveries.
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Safely and accurately deliver customer deliveries in a timely and efficient manner.
- Provide excellent internal and external customer service when on job sites and within warehouses.
- Follow all safety procedures to completely secure all loads being transported.
- Wrap customer orders to ensure load security when necessary.
- Verify loads are accurate before leaving the site.
- Record and complete well documented paperwork of deliveries.
- Keep vehicles in clean, good working condition. Report any repairs or maintenance needed to management by filling out a daily Inspection Report.
- Assist with yard / warehouse tasks as necessary.
- Assist with keeping the yard / warehouse clean, safe, and organized.
- Complete all other assigned tasks given by management.
- Qualifications and Requirements:
- High School degree or equivalent.
- One to two years related experience delivering in the construction supply business preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both orally and written. Read, write, and speak English.
- Must be able to understand packing lists and delivery tickets.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Must have a valid state issued Driver's License.
- Must have valid MN State DOT Health Card.
- Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
