JOB DUTIES: Design and implement n-tiered applications that meet reliability, scalability, TCO, and supportability requirements.
Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex systems and solutions using digital-native cloud technologies.
Support an Agile Product Development team to deliver high-quality technology solutions built with cloud-native technologies and modern methods.
Ensure quality in all aspects of software engineering, including continuous integration, code quality, test-driven development, and adherence to target architecture.
Design and develop core services and components according to service-oriented, event-driven, and microservices architecture.
Implement Enterprise Technology reference architectures, design patterns, and coding best practices.
Collaborate with Development, Architecture, and Support teams to design and maintain various platforms and their integration with other systems.
Recommend opportunities for application and process improvements and prepare documentation outlining the platform roadmap.
Maintain, troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing systems.
Work collaboratively with QA and DevOps teams to adopt CI/CD toolchain and develop automation.
Assist in the technical assessment of risks and issues, and document recommendations.
Communicate regularly with technical and non-technical groups as part of product/project support.
