About the role
You will serve as a ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN (MECHANICAL) in the Engine Production Division 930 of SOUTHWEST REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CENTER. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing oversight and technical guidance for various diesel engines by applying expert knowledge, including but not limited to diesel engine couplings, main propulsion and power generation applications, main propulsion diesel engines, and clutch, power generation diesel engines, ships service and emergency diesel engines for power generation to ensure in compliance with regulation design, maintenance, safety and operations on U.S. Navy vessel equipment/systems.
