About the role
To support customer demand, we are currently seeking a HGV Class 1 Driver at our Hams Hall depot. Shift Available: HGV Class 1 Driver: 4 on 4 off Nights (Start times around 15:00-19:00) Rate of pay: £16.54 per hour, plus a combined shift allowance of £95.00 per week, paid weekly. Overtime rate after 39 hours worked each week is paid at time and a half. Duties and Responsibilities Ensure the vehicle is legal and roadworthy at all times - all daily checks are completed, and any vehicle defects are reported Ensure the correct goods have been loaded and are secure before moving the vehicle Carry out trunking and multi-drop deliveries in a timely manner and in accordance with the law (including drivers working time regulations) Double check deliveries with the customer whilst providing a polite and helpful experience. Obtain relevant signatures and paperwork before returning to your home depot What are we looking for? Someone with a C+E driving licence, a valid in date DigiTacho and CPC Previous Class 1 driving experience Someone who can lift up to 18kg You to be able to communicate clearly with other team members in English What's in it for me?
