IT Audit Analyst

Responsibilities

• Carry out IT General Control testing in accordance with the Assurance methodology, and evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls relating to risks within those functional areas;
• Collaborate with subject matter experts (SME) and other teams in integrated assurance reviews and actively contribute to the delivery of team plans in support of the functional and business strategies under limited supervision;
• Proactively develop and maintain professional consultative working relationships with the technology risk team, with internal stakeholders, and use a range of approaches to collect relevant and readily available information to assess risk, resolve issues or carry out tasks;
• Active engagement with team members for knowledge sharing;
• You will assist the team in any adhoc work and projects as assigned;

Job Summary We are looking for an experienced IT Audit Analyst who will be responsible for Technology Assurance projects for a reputed bank. Mandatory Skill-set Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or other related disciplines; Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in the Big 4 audit firms, Financial, Banking or IT industry; Experience in IT application audit and IT risk analysis/assessment; Must be familiar with IT controls over different operating system and database platforms; Self-motivated and driven, able to work independently and has good communication skills; Has learning agility, analytical and meticulous and able to work independently and in a team; Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines; Analytical and meticulous and able to work independently and in a team. Desired Skill-set Experience in usage of data analytics for IT audit or assurance work; Exposure to MAS Technology Risk Management guidelines.
