Typical operations to include, but not limited to, show creation and operation, special events, theatre rentals, and other scheduled activities on MGM Resort property supported by the Entertainment Division and its programming Ensure all Multi-Media Section operations are conducted through positive interaction within an atmosphere that maximizes productivity and minimizes cost Assist the Multi-Media Manager to maintain a strong and productive working relationship with other Entertainment Division staff Senior Multi-Media Technicians may also assist as a secondary FOH operator, monitors operator, show communication & video system configurations and repairs, and wireless systems operation and maintenance Operate audio and related equipment in a professional and consistent manner for show(s) creation, performance and rehearsals as well as all other Cotai Theatre and MGM China Resort activities supported by the Entertainment Division Assist the Multi-Media Manager in maintaining artistic integrity and design intent for all relevant aspects of show(s) content Ensure the Multi-Media Section provides exceptional service to any MGM theatre client or guest when relevant or required As directed, inspect and maintain all sound and communication equipment systems; update maintenance, inspection & inventory data; ensure all documentation is clear and concise As directed, participate in any Multi-Media Section cross training to help increase productivity and operational diversity Maintain a safe working environment by conforming to all established safety policies and procedures; participate in all required safety classes and emergency rescue procedure training or MGM resort wide safety drills and rehearsals; ensure a clean working environment at all operational & workshop areas Job Requirements: M inimum of 3 years or above experience as an audio technician in large-scale theatrical event, concert productions, or live stage professional production College Diploma and/or related technical accreditation and significant experience preferred Excellent language skills in Chinese or English Strong computer skills required. Knowledgeable in Mac OSX & Windows XP operating systems preferred Knowledge of digital audio equipment operating and editing systems preferred Proficiency in operating, troubleshooting and the minor repair of audio equipment, including Meyer Cue Station, L'Acoustics, Riedel Communications, Shure RF systems, and general audio equipment an asset
