Join Brown & Brown Absence Services Group as a Return-to-Work Specialist ! The Return-to-Work Specialist plays a key role in supporting individuals with disabilities as they explore employment opportunities through the Ticket to Work program. This position is primarily responsible for conducting outbound calls to screen potential program participants, assess their eligibility, and answer questions to help individuals make informed decisions about returning to work. In addition to outreach and lead screening, the specialist assists clients in developing Individual Work Plans, outlining personalized employment goals and the steps needed to achieve them. The role also includes providing some services to Ticketholders during the job acquisition phase such as resume support, interview preparation, job search assistance, and referrals to appropriate resources. This position requires strong communication skills, empathy, and a commitment to empowering individuals on their journey toward financial independence through work. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The Return-to-Work Specialist supports front-end activities with Ticketholders by assisting with education and screening of leads, completing Individual Work Plans (IWPs), and providing services to Ticketholders that are in the job acquisition phase. As Ticket volume grows there may be opportunities for advancement, including becoming a Certified Benefits Counselor. To be successful, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Serve as a primary point of contact at the front-end of the process, engaging in a high volume of outbound and inbound calls and emails to educate and screen potential program participants. Identify personalized employment goals and complete Individual Work Plans (IWPs) to initiate services and Ticket assignment. Assist assigned Ticketholders during the job acquisition phase, providing support with resume development, interview preparation, and job search strategies. Ensure adherence to program rules and requirements, maintaining compliance in all interactions and documentation. Collaborate with team members by completing additional tasks to support overall program operations.
