Being accountable for traffic engineering and transport planning, modelling delivery and verification on a range of transport projects
Mentor, guide teams to achieve technical requirements and deliver the projects.
Good hands-on experience of Strategic modelling software SATURN, DIADEM
Experience in SATURN network development, Model Calibration and Validation , Demand forecasting and Matrix Estimation.
Familiarity with UK/US/ANZ/Middle East transport modelling guidance - (e.g., NPPF, DfT Guidance, Local Plans).
Mentor and support junior engineers.
Liaise with clients and AECOM's global project teams to ensure technical excellence and timely delivery.
Master's degree in the relevant subject (e.g., Transport Planning/Engineering, or related subjects)
5-8 years of relevant experience in transport planning and modelling .
Strong proficiency in SATURN, ArcGIS, TEMPro, DIADEM
Experience in data processing, automation, and scripting (Python / R) desirable.
Excellent communication, coordination, and writing report skills.
Working toward chartered status (ICE / CIHT / TPS) preferred.
