Requirements

• A minimum of 6-10+ years of professional experience in management consulting/strategy, transformation.
• Strong understanding of the Sales & Trading / Global Markets ecosystem, including trading products (e.g., Equities, Fixed Income, FX, Rates, Credit, Derivatives), trade lifecycle, market structure, risk management, financial and regulatory drivers, and front-to-back operating processes.
• Experience building or scaling an internal consulting, strategy, PMO or transformation function.
• Prior roles within a top-tier consulting firm (strategy, big 4, etc), a global investment bank or asset management firm.
• Project management, product development, business management, or management consulting in the financial services industry, ideally supporting Sales & Trading / Global Markets businesses.
• BS/BA degree required. Advanced degrees in business, finance, economics, engineering or related fields preferred.

Role Title- Business Solutions Group, Manager/Senior Manager, Institutional Securities Management We're seeking someone to join our team as an Associate/ Senior Associate to provide program management and delivery support for key business initiatives and will coordinate across multi-disciplinary teams with a key focus on program planning, readiness planning and program execution across all impacted groups (e.g. business, technology, operations, external stakeholders), risk monitoring and remediation planning, and management reporting. The Business Solutions Group (BSG) team sits within Morgan Stanley's Institutional Securities Group (ISG) and functions as an in-house management consulting team supporting the firm with strategic program management and delivery, large-scale transformation, operational improvement, and regulatory change or remediation. The team partners with individual business lines, Legal/Risk/Compliance, and senior firm leadership to drive initiatives to completion. This individual will play a foundational role in shaping the team's capabilities, delivering high-impact engagements. What you'll do in the role: Key responsibilities will include but will not be limited to the following: Support high quality, multi-workstream consulting engagements within ISG including front office, risk, finance, operations and technology. Partner with BSG leadership and stakeholders on all stages of program planning and execution to ensure deadlines are met and assist with risk/issue resolution. Assist in the production and coordination of various presentations and collateral for senior management. Support change management/ process enhancements, control, and governance-related initiatives. Partner with various business stakeholders and technology, operations, finance and risk teams to diagnose issues and help develop actionable initiative and sustainable resolutions. Help track and analyze engagement economics, staffing, budgets and performance metrics. Promote a collaborative, inclusive, high-performance culture that balances excellence with sustainability. Skills Required: Experience working on major organizational change programs, such as regulations, merger integrations or corporate restructure. Proven ability to manage delivery/execution of a wide range of tasks and initiatives. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. Proven experience developing partnerships with and successfully coordinating across various business and functional stakeholders. Strong written and verbal communications skills. Ability to interact at all levels of the organization and tailor messages appropriately. Strong presentation skills, including ability to create polished PowerPoint presentations for various levels of management. Strong data analysis and technology acumen, with experience leveraging data, analytics, AI/ML, Generative AI, and automation tools to improve decision-making, streamline processes, and deliver measurable business outcomes. Independent self-starter who can manage multiple activities to aggressive deadlines. Eagerness to learn the business and understand detailed technical requirements.
