Job Description: Job Title: Social Enterprise Manager Type of Contract: Full-time employment position for 1 year (with the possibility of extension) Department: Sales & Operations Location: Bangkok, Thailand (With occasional work trips to the Chiang Mai office) Expected Start Date: 15th of June Key responsibilities of the Manager position will entail but are not limited to the following: Strategy and Planning Develop and implement a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy for DaoEG, aligning it with our social mission and business objectives. With the support of Baan Dek's senior management, adjust and implement the DaoEG strategy. This involves identifying new opportunities and focusing on maximizing sales volume while minimizing support and administrative costs. Ensure that commercial growth remains aligned with DaoEG's women's empowerment and ethical sourcing objectives. Work closely with Baan Dek Foundation to strengthen the integration between DaoEG's commercial activities and social impact objectives. Marketing, Sales, and Business Development Set realistic targets and develop action plans to achieve sales and revenue goals. Identify new market opportunities and customer segments to expand our reach and impact. Develop and implement marketing campaigns to enhance brand awareness and drive customer engagement. Coordinate the creation of compelling marketing materials and content that align with DaoEG's mission and resonate with our target audience. Make sure that DaoEG maintains a strong online presence across various digital platforms, leveraging social media, email marketing, and other channels to reach and connect with customers. Drive sales growth by establishing strong customer relationships and actively pursuing new business opportunities. Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and revenue forecasting for DaoEG in coordination with relevant BDF finance and management teams. Lead negotiations and closing of deals, ensuring favorable terms for DaoEG and its mission. Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adapt sales strategies and improve performance. Implement a customer relationship management tool to facilitate client engagement. Production Process and Improvement Oversee product development, production coordination, quality assurance, and supplier relationships to ensure high-quality and ethically produced products to meet the client's requirements. Review and recommend room for improvement in the production process. Team Management and Leadership Lead, motivate, and support the DaoEG team (5 staffs) by setting clear priorities, strengthening accountability, and fostering a collaborative and mission-driven working culture. Set sales goals for the team, compare performance to goals, and adjust goals as needed. Set clear goals and expectations, provide ongoing feedback and guidance, and support professional development opportunities. Assess individual performance through observation and measurement, and suggest actions. Impact Measurement and Reporting Together with BDF senior management, establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the social impact and financial sustainability of DaoEG.
