Responsibilities
Be the first point of contact with clients and internal stakeholders to discuss and assist with electrical works.
Lead technical design for projects and client portfolios.
Support work-winning efforts through the preparation of return briefs and fee estimates for electrical engineering opportunities.
Work with colleagues from other disciplines to deliver complete multi-disciplinary projects.
Manage, mentor and supervise other engineers.
Build strong relationships with clients and assist in successfully driving opportunities to successful outcomes.
Drive continuous improvement and support best-practice standards.
Opportunity to progress into a Team Leader role, supporting and developing a team of 5-10, once established in Aurecon's delivery model.
Requirements
Relevant engineering qualifications and minimum 10+ years' experience delivering electrical power systems analysis and design of large medium-voltage embedded networks across sectors including Defence, Airports, Hospitals, Mining, and BESS.
Proven experience with power system analysis, design and documentation, primary and secondary system substation design, protection scheme design and familiarity with earthing design.
Demonstrated track record delivering impactful outcomes and understanding the full project lifecycle, including planning, concept, detailed design, tendering, and construction support, with strong client and contractor interface.
Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.
The ability to see the big picture and challenge assumptions.
