This role is responsible for patient preparation, radiopharmaceutical administration, image acquisition, radiation safety, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality diagnostic images. The technologist adheres to all departmental protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements while maintaining compassionate and professional patient care. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Education/Licensure/Certification: - Current certification in Nuclear Medicine, American Registry of Radiologist Technology (ARRT) (N) or Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB) required. - State licensure/certification as required. - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required. - PET specialty certification (e.g., NMTCB-PET) preferred. Knowledge/Experience: - Minimum three (3) years of licensed clinical PET/CT or nuclear medicine experience required. - Knowledge of radiation safety principles and regulatory standards. - Experience with hybrid imaging workflows (PET/CT, SPECT/CT).
