About the role
Key Tasks Aircraft Maintenance & Assembly: Perform sub-assembly, final assembly, and repair tasks on aircraft, payloads, and associated components in accordance with work in-strictions and quality standards. Execute scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities both at the Swiss headquarters and during international deployments. Conduct inspections, installations, removals, replacements, and functional testing of subsystems and ground support equipment (GSE). Flight Operations: Support pre-flight and post-flight inspections, system preparation, and maintenance, ensuring all work is completed, documented, and signed off correctly. Prepare and maintain aircraft, Ground Control Stations (GCS), data transmission systems, and payloads for flight missions. Assist remote pilots and manage ground movements during flight operations. Quality, Safety & Compliance: Ensure full traceability and documentation of all tasks performed, including inspection and testing of incoming goods and parts. Comply with safety standards, internal quality protocols, work instructions, and regulatory requirements (including handling Dangerous Goods). Maintain all GSE in operational condition to support daily flight and test activities. Other Tasks Technical Problem Solving: Perform fault diagnosis using appropriate test equipment and support root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions for sys-tem failures or malfunctions. Contribute suggestions for product and process improvements based on operational experience. Training & Collaboration: Act as a technician instructor for internal and/or external training sessions. Collaborate proactively with engineering, logistics, and operations teams to ensure seamless mission support. Competencies & Duties Working independently and responsibly. Compliance according to ANAVIA' employment contract, compliance with company' safety instructions and employee' safety requirements, compliance with employers' quality manual, work instructions and cor-responding process specifications and instructions. Assure 5s behavior to drive clean, safe and efficient work processes. International travel requires up to 50% of employee' working hours. Qualifications Completed technical education (e.g., in mechanical, electrical, or aerospace engineering). Minimum 7 years of experience as an aircraft technician (manned and/or unmanned). Proven understanding of aircraft assembly, system integration, and maintenance procedures. Strong diagnostic skills and hands-on experience with technical test equipment. Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written. Working knowledge of operational risk management practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and documentation tools. Valid driver's license.
