Responsibilities

  • Maintains a robust business partnering relationship with key stakeholders - Sub-Region Finance Teams, Regional & Global COE's
  • Budget & quarter-end corporate presentation preparation on dedicated data sections related to Working Capital, Cash Flow, Bridges - Revenue, EBIT and SAR Spends
  • Provide technical guidance to sub-regional teams & offer management reporting solutions when there is a business/operation change or when associated accounting change happens, which requires good understanding among management reporting, local books, and consolidation
  • Assist with the annual budgeting process, including preparation of supporting templates, and consolidation of business submissions
  • LRP (Long Range Planning) data preparation as required together with MR&P COE Lead
  • Work closely with MR&P COE Lead to drive reporting and business improvement as required by leveraging SAP S4/HANA and associated planning and reporting platforms (including BPC, Fiori, and AFO)
  • Drive process improvement efforts to reduce time, facilitate analysis & better decision-making
  • Lead project initiatives that create value-add for the finance function
  • Support SOX and internal audit as needed
  • Work with the relevant stakeholders to better understand the actual results along with the drivers, facilitate consolidation of forecasts, quarter-over-quarter analysis
  • New Product Introduction Tracking - Work with the Sub-Region Finance teams to summarize the latest view of the new launches planned for the year
  • Good understanding of FX and Hedging related topics
  • Tracking of SG&A spend - Monitor actuals and facilitate meaningful budgets & forecasts
  • Develop a good understanding of key levers impacting Accounts Receivable & DSO, monitoring & tracking the same with relevant stakeholders on a regular basis
  • Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline
  • Minimum of 8 to 10 years of analytical and financial planning experience
  • Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, attention to detail and ability to communicate complicated issues effectively
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization
  • Demonstrated ability to perform consistently under varying business pressure as well as ability to adapt to a quickly changing environment
  • Ability to work across levels within the organization and foster strong relationships with others
  • Solution oriented approach in problem solving
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Excel & Power point)
  • SAP S4, BPC/AFO, Power BI/Tableau experience preferred
  • Ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision (self-motivated)
  • Ability to handle large data sets
  • Proficient in English

Job Summary You will play a key role in the preparation of management reporting, variance analysis and forecasting, delivery of annual budgets; as well as profitability analysis to support pricing and operational decisions to the APAC businesses. In addition to routine reporting for the APAC region and FMC's Global Headquarters in the US, you also need to provide ad-hoc financial analysis for APAC Leadership Team to support critical business decisions. You will also support commercial activities such as pricing analysis, market share analysis, and the like. This role requires working in partnership with regional and global COE teams and leverage of COE resources to better achieve the below key responsibilities.
