We are looking for three (3) Temporary Senior Developers to support our organization's applications and services compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). This term is expected to be at least 24 months, but may be extended. The Senior Developers will develop and maintain code using object-oriented programming languages. The preferred candidate will have experience with WCAG compliance, be capable of programming at a senior level using C#/.Net/ASPX, as well as having the ability to provide technical mentorship as required. Other highlights include: Design, build, test, implement and maintain software solutions while ensuring reliability and scalability all while following the software development lifecycle. Conduct WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA compliance audits using automated testing suites and manual screen reader evaluations. Identify accessibility barriers, debug code, and implement fixes for previously flagged violations. Analyze, investigate, and solve technical problems associated with code and applications and recommend improvements; provide troubleshooting support to other team members as it relates to resolving issues within the code. Work with internal teams (including Project Management, Business Analysis, DevOps and Quality Assurance) to ensure code and applications are being designed and delivered according to compliance requirements. Maintain technical documentation to assist with maintenance and upgrades.
