Lead corporate communication strategies, including but not limited to product announcements, research insights/thought leadership, wider brand building activity, partner and employer of choice programs.
Lead media relations efforts, including proactive pitching, reactive engagement, and executive media training.

Requirements
7-10 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or media relations (agency, in-house, or a mix of both).
Strong track record of securing earned media coverage and managing media relationships in Canada.
Proven track record developing, executing and measuring the success of strategic communication programs leveraging a variety of digital and traditional channels.
Demonstrated experience advising senior executives on sensitive communications, with a strong understanding of reputational risk and stakeholder and market dynamics.
Strong writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex data into compelling narratives.
Strategic thinker with experience developing and executing integrated communications plans.
Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
Experience managing external agencies and budgets.
Degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or a related field.
Experience in information services, financial services, or technology sectors.
Familiarity with digital-first communications environments and newsroom CMS tools.
Understanding of complementary disciplines such as social media, content marketing, and executive communications.
