About the role

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY INDUSTRIAL SPECIALIST (SHIPS) in the Little Creek (JEBLC) Ops Branch Code 314, Waterfront Operations Department (WFO) Code 300, Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC), of MID ATLANTIC REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CTR. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience planning management of contracts and contractor actions during pre-production phase and execution phase for ship repairs. Experience scheduling ship repair availabilities, continuing maintenance and emergent work, finding ways to improve and increase the quality of work. Experience reviewing ship specifications to ensure completeness and conformance to authorized work. Experience managing ship repair job orders, monitoring progress, and monitoring end-cost, quality, and schedule. Experience utilizing existing ship repair processes, methods, and techniques to ensure adequate solutions to ship repair projects.
