About the role
Responsible for supporting Accounts Receivable operations for Asia, with a focus on ensuring accurate and timely receipting, bank reconciliation, and Unapplied/Unidentified Cash (UC) resolution. Your New Role: Perform accurate and timely receipting in accordance with service level expectations. Reconcile bank statements and investigate discrepancies. Contribute to the preparation of financial statements, account reconciliations, and financial analysis. Ensure accounting records are maintained in line with relevant accounting standards and internal policies and guidance. Establish and maintain an efficient, effective relationship between Finance and Business Unit Finance staff. Support efforts to achieve compliance with financial regulations and meet compliance deadlines. Build relationships across all areas of the company. Ensure training and knowledge is up to date. This includes but is not limited to mainframe applications and general insurance accounting. Deliver high-quality advice to underwriting and processing staff. Act as onshore liaison to the accounts payable and receivable teams. Ensure that all processes conducted are documented in a standard format and that this is maintained accessible. Ensure consistency between the management result and general ledger. Ensure effective suite of reports provided to business enabling management to monitor business profitability. Assist in preparation of forecasts. Undertake special investigations/projects concerning a wide-range of commercial accounting issues when required. About You: 3+ years' experience in a finance or accounting role Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Strong skills in spreadsheets, data analysis and reconciliation procedures. Problem solving skills and good communication.
